Slogan for Hypertension this year is :

World Hypertension Day is globally celebrated every year on May 17th, and this year is celebrated under the slogan (Measure your blood pressure accurately, and control it, for a longer life); To raise awareness of the importance of measuring periodic blood pressure, and knowing its normal levels.


5 Healthy Tips to Control,Hypertension :

  1. Maintain a healthy weight: Excess weight puts additional strain on the heart and blood vessels. Losing weight and maintaining a healthy body mass index (BMI) can help lower blood pressure.

  2. Engage in regular physical activity: Regular exercise can help lower blood pressure. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise


per week. Consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.

  1. Manage stress: Chronic stress can contribute to high blood pressure. Find healthy ways to manage stress, such as exercise, relaxation techniques, meditation, or engaging in hobbies you enjoy.

  2. Quit smoking: Smoking damages blood vessels and raises blood pressure. Quitting smoking is one of the most effective lifestyle changes for improving overall health, including blood pressure control.

  3. Limit alcohol consumption: Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol can raise blood pressure. Men should limit intake to two drinks per day, while women should have no more than one drink per day.
